Information & Advice for the foam party operator
Example of a disclaimer notice
We do not condone or suggest that the following be used, as it stands, as a legal document or that it can be, in any way, relied upon as such. This is purely given as an example of the “style” that a disclaimer notice could take and contains some points that you may like to consider when producing your own document.
THIS CLUB IS CURRENTLY OPERATING FOAM MACHINES
We are advised by the operators (name and address of company)
that these machines and the foam created will not cause permanent damage to clothing or persons subjected to it.
It is, however, recommended that upon returning home from the club, persons who have had contact with the foam, should wash all areas as soon as possible. It is also recommended that any clothes which may have come into contact with the foam are also washed as soon as possible. If these recommendations are followed, no damage to clothing or irritability to skin should occur.
If you have sensitive skin and you feel a tingling sensation whilst in the foam, you should wash the affected areas immediately with cold water. The same applies if you get the foam in your eyes.
There is a possibility that certain types of canvass and suede shoes as well as trainers could become permanently stained. If you are wearing this type of footwear and enter the foam, you do so at your own risk.
It is not recommended that you stand immediately under the foam machines as the volume of output is such that it could rise above your head height making it impossible to see and difficult to breath.
NEITHER THE CLUB OR THE OPERATOR CAN BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO CLOTHING OR FOOTWEAR OR PERSONS HOWEVER CAUSED IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OF THESE FOAM MACHINES.
